One of the most fun days of my job (besides the actual day of helping a bride fluff her dress and open the door with a flourish as she sees her soul mate for the first time on the wedding day) is the walk through.
This is the last day they will be in the venue before it's officially their wedding day. This is the day when all of the ideas, plans, and pinterest boards come together.
Today we celebrate Claire Carlisle and Scott Young as we make final preparations at Foxhall Resort and Sporting Club for their wedding August 11th.
Check out Claire and Scott's engagement session by Peach Blossom Photography and get ready to wait with bated breath for their guaranteed-to-be-gorgeous wedding photos.

Indian Wedding at The Fabulous Fox Theatre Video
We had the awesome opportunity to work with Tejal and Bobby, both busy professionals in the medical world, for the past six months. The goal was to create a wedding that was a fusion of Hindu and Christian cultures, Indian and American foods, and lots of dancing. We chose Piedmont Park as our location for the ceremony, then The Fabulous Fox Theatre in Midtown Atlanta for the reception. We utilized the Grand Salon at The Fox for the cocktail hour and the Egyptian Ballroom for dinner and dancing.
See for yourself. Awesome, eh?
We were privileged to work with a rock star vendor team.
Nicki with Bold American Catering : food
Steve and Kristine with Bold American Decor : table linens and floral decor for ceremony and reception
Jay with Indaglow Productions : lighting and sound service for the ceremony

Barbara with Piedmont Park Conservancy : ceremony venue
Paul with Walk on Water Video Production : videography
Nadia with Nadia D Photography : photography

Kudos Email
Absolutely love opening my inbox and seeing an email like this. Tashawn and Jovanghn's wedding was Saturday at Agnes Scott College.
Hey Erica:
In case it was not expressed in enough detail before, thank you immensely for all that you did for us leading up to and including the big day! We couldn't have asked for a better day. You got nothing but incredible praise from all of our friends and family members for your overall professionalism and attentiveness to all details. I am very confident that I can speak for both the new misses and I when I say that the wedding day would not have been near as memorable without your magic touch! Bravo! :-)
In closing, we'd love to take you up on that offer to catch up over drinks and talk about all the details and exchange stories about the big day. We're off for the honeymoon on Wednesday and will be back on Sunday. Then we'll probably take the rest of the week to get settled into the natural disaster that is currently our home. So let us know what your availability is over the next couple of weeks so we can potentially get something on the calendar.
Again, thanks for everything that you've done for us, and we look forward to seeing you soon!
Sincerely,
Tashawn & Jovanghn Howell

Sarah and Keith are Featured!
You may remember us posting tweets about #WestinBride. Well here they are. Sarah and Keith are featured today on www.TheWeddingYentas.com!

Real Jewish Weddings | Atlanta, GA
In 2005, Sarah walked into her first day of work after college and she would have never guessed that afternoon she would meet her future husband in her first-ever work meeting. Keith was lucky enough to be in the cube that was diagonal from Sarah so that whenever she had a work question (“How do I use Outlook??”), he was Sarah’s first stop. Work questions turned into personal ones and before they knew it, they had become friends.
Then one day Sarah got to work early so she walked further than normal to go to the “good bagel place” and picked up a bagel and lox and thought Keith would want one too. She brought one back and put it on his desk. It wasn’t until she mentioned this to one of her friends that she thought, “Huh, I don’t normally buy bagels and lox for everyone. Maybe Keith and I are more than just friends . . . ” It was not long after that when New Years 2006 came along and they were at the same party. Their midnight kiss turned quickly into a loving relationship. Keith and Sarah have a great time together cooking dinner at night, hiking, or traveling around Europe. They always find themselves laughing and based on their smiles that plastered their faces on their wedding day, we know they’re for real!
Mazel tov, Sarah and Keith!
