Music Monday: Bridal Processional Song

Today's Music Monday is brought to you by the book I am currently re-reading: Twilight: Breaking Dawn. If you follow that series at all, you know that the final movie is set for release November 18. Well, it can't come fast enough for me, let me tell you.

Here's a wedding processional song for all of you who have scored your own "Edward".

Music Monday: First Dance

Ok, so you and your partner are not the super sappy, waltz-dancing-inspired couple. You want something a little more fun, quirky if you will, to dance to for your first dance. A song that resembles your upbeat, happy personalities. Well here you go.

Our bride last weekend used this as her and her husband's first dance.
Have your guests walk away saying,
"That was so them!"

What fun songs are ya'll using for your day? I would love to hear about them!

Music Monday: Father/Daughter Dance

I love this song for the infamous Father/Daughter dance.
It isn't super sappy, just a great way to say "I love you."

Wish Lantern Grand Exit

Ever since I saw the movie, Tangled, I have been dying to visit Taiwan during their Sky Lantern Festival!
Thousands of people travel to the country each year to experience the 16 day long festival during which they write a wish on a piece of paper, attach it to a lantern, light the lantern with a flame, and allow it to float upwards (some say to heaven).

Could be a cool Grand Exit idea, eh?

I am obsessed with this idea. It is unique and something special your guests can be a part of.
Give each guest their own sky lantern and let them write their own wish for you and your new spouse.
When it is time for your grand exit, let them all light them and let them float to heaven around you.

Check out http://www.wishlantern.com/ to find these lanterns for your special day.
They even offer 100% biodegradeable wish lanterns!

If you decide to make this your amazing Grand Exit I would love to hear about it!
Find me on Twitter or shoot me an Email with pics and your story!

Music Monday: Mother/Son Dance

Once again we are using a song from the fantastic musical, Sound of Music.

After our recent First Dance song, "Something Good", we had one of our wonderful
brides tell us her fiance will be dancing with his mother to another song from the musical.

"Edelweiss" by the Captain

I love this song. It is such a fantastic song for the Mother/Son dance! Its lyrics talk
about someone always being happy to see you and watch you grow up.
What better song could there be for this dance?

What songs are y'all using for the mother/son dance at your wedding?
I would love to hear them! Follow me on Twitter or
shoot me an Email and share them with me!
