We have been trying to come up with more ways to inspire you in creating your wedding: a wedding that so perfectly resembles you and your partner that as the guests leave, they say, "That was so them." I want our blog to be a place for inspiration as well as education on the little things you may have questions about.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't one of the first questions you get as an engaged person (right after "When's the date?") is "What are your colors?" Before you snarkily answer "Blush and Bashful", let's investigate some alternatives.
These Color Palette blogs will give you some ideas on different colors and combinations you may not have thought of. Along with the colors we will show ways to use the colors throughout the weddings process, from the invitation, all the way to the favors and flowers!
If you have any ideas on what you would like to see as a color palette, email or find me on Twitter and we will put together a color palette just for you.
This is one of my favorite color palettes this season. I love the different things you can do with grey and yellow that make the event fun and classy, but still have a summery, relaxed feel!
This is a perfect color scheme for couples who love being outdoors,
and still have that touch of class and elegance.
Yellow, Gold, Grey, Silver
I adore the way the yellow flowers pop with the grey dresses! Amazing!
This is such a simple boutonniere (found on www.BethCampbellCreative.com) made of Craspedia. It looks fabulous next to the grey suit and with the grey and yellow striped tie!
These are some fun centerpiece ideas. All different but still fun and
within our wonderful color scheme!
Such a great cupcake tree, with the top tier for the bride and groom (thanks to www.TheCakeBlog.com).
There are many ways you can integrate yellow and grey into your bridal bouquet. Instead of the white ribbon you could try silver. And there are tons of different yellow and gold flowers to choose from!
Such a great summer wedding invitation! It really sets the theme for what the
guests can expect at the wedding.
Some fun summer decorations for an outside wedding (found on www.weddingsonthefrenchriviera.com).
And of course, me being the shoe lover that I am, I had to include a cute pair of wedding shoes!
These are fabulous!
I hope you guys liked this first color palette. If you have any ideas or questions feel free to Email me, or follow me on Twitter!
